AS/400 Systems Administrator

Requirements:

• Position Title: AS/400 Systems Administrator
• Duration: 1 Yr (Renewable) (Under the payroll of Helius Technologies)
• Location: Tuas, Singapore



• Responsibilities:



•  System monitoring, day to day operation, backup, security
•  Support 3rd parties software used in terms of setup, operations, maintenance and troubleshooting Robot, SDM, NetIQ, Mimix
•  Standby support - hold blackberry for after office hr support;
•  Secondary support on Data Center facilities management - Follow-up with FM contractor when the Data Center administrator is not around
•  Knowledgeable in ITIL processes:
•  Problem management, Service request, Change Management



• Requirements:



•  5 to 8 yrs of relevant exp in AS/400 system admin
•  Technical skill in AS400 system admin, HMC, Lpar, Robot
•  CL Programming
•  System security and control
•  Performance tuning
•  Knowledge of networking TCPIP
•  Control and support with regional support exp in similar MNC environment will be highly desirable
•  With technical skill in Query 400, and MiMix will be an added advantage
•  Positive working attitude, self-starter, self-motivated
•  With strong communication and interpersonal skill
•  Service oriented with good sense of urgency in delivering support services
•  Must be a good team player and can work independently as well
•  Willing to perform some standby duties during/after office hours
