TUNNEL DESIGN ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main Accountabilities
- Provide technical design and support with regards
to the delivery of tunnel and shaft projects.
- Liaise and coordinate works with all parties within the project
- Supervise site investigations, monitoring and instrumentation,
involved in risk assessment also.
- Understand E&M and environmental requirement
in tunnel design. Write reports, specifications
and produce drawings.
- Tunnel design experience in soft ground, rock
and mix ground conditions. Good understanding
of soil or rock mechanics.

PRE-REQUISITES:
- Relevant engineering degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- The person should have excellent hands-on knowledge of TBM
and SCL tunnels design using FEM and numerical modeling.
- Experience of working with an engineering consultancy for at LEAST 5 years.
- Must have worked on at LEAST 10 tunneling projects.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent project skills
- Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high
level of professionalism and integrity
- Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
