Job Title: Senior SEM Specialist

Location: Manila

Reporting to: SEM Team Leader or SEM Manager and/or Market Manager

Main Interactions: Commercial Content Managers, Market Managers

Job Summary

Given a spending budget, the Senior SEM Specialist is responsible for defining, implementing, monitoring and adjusting online Search Engine Marketing campaigns for a specific product in a specific market(s), in order to get traffic from SEs, generate revenues and maximize profit margins for partner networks and/or properties.

Responsibilities

Define SEM campaign strategy in order to optimize results based on specific budgets and objectives;

Write and test ad copy to ensure optimum click-through rates and select keywords for SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo, MSN and other PPC ad campaigns;

Use conversion and ROI tracking systems for PPC campaigns;

Utilize campaign management tools and data modeling to maximize PPC campaign performance;

Monitor campaign results, analyze and optimize key metrics such as CPCs, EPCs, CTRs, Profit Margins and ROI

Provide daily reports to management on campaign status/performance and make recommendations in order to increase campaign effectiveness

Use affiliation programs (Tradedoubler, Zanox, etc.) and direct deals implementations to support campaigns performance

Research and keep up to date with changes in the SEM industry and react accordingly

Requirements

Over 3 years of experience in internet marketing roles, specifically SEM

Solid and consistent track record in managing PPC campaigns using Google Adwords, YSM, MSN

Advanced knowledge of Affiliation Platforms (Tradedoubler, Zanox, Affilinet)

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of Marketing, Business and/or Communication;

Outstanding attention to detail and analytic mindset;

Abiliity to multi task in a deadline driven environment;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage several simultaneous projects;

Solid operational knowledge of Office productivity software and advanced knowledge of Excel;

Master advanced web statistics analysis and the usage of tools such as Google Analytics;

Must be fluent in English and the local market language (Cantonese, Japanese, Korean - urgent) (French, Italian, Spanish, German, Ducth - for pooling) and able to perform SEM campaign in those languages with an extensive knowledge of the local market

Nice to have additional skills such as SEO techniques, websites conversion enhancement and landing page strategies, websites usability concepts

Have strong interest in online advertising (SEM)
